I just found this press release from July. What they're talking about in the release is *EXACTLY* what we did with our June and September cycles. I had no idea it was *that* new of a procedure, but the 1st birth of a baby from this 'technique' was in June 2008.
Here is the link.

It is so amazing what they can do now. I am going to ask about this. Congrats again!
Wow, that's amazing!
It's interesting, I've known abotu this for a little while. On the FF pg after IVF board I asked women how many live births they got from a single retrieval, and I was hard pressed to find a woman that had 3 or more births from 1 retreival (regardless of how many eggs they got, if they did mult. FET's after a fresh or not) ... the results were mainly 1 or 2 live births, even with up to 30+ eggs retrieved. (Yes, Kate Gosslin would be an exception) ... but CCRM's CGH results are showing 1/2 normal embryos from a retrieval. I would say that for most IF women I know, only a handful of embryos make it to transfer and only <25% of ladies get frozens from a cycle.
So I wonder if the lab at CCRM is helping to generate all of the great CGH results.
Anyway, these are the things I think about ... and this article is the reason I'm doing my hail mary at CCRM!!
thanks for directing me to the article, I saw this article a bit ago. It is great they are having so much success w it. I hope to be one!
Thanks for sharing this. I didn't realize this was that new!! It is amazing what they can do now. I can only hope to have enough to test. (:
Thanks for your encouraging comment on my blog. I may send my husband the link to your blog so he can get a feel for what CCRM can do. Thanks!!
