Thank the gods, or whomever you think might be 'up there', but I think the awful all-day-death sickness (really never happened in the morning) has passed. My energy has been almost back to normal and I can eat now. Not EAT, but just eat. Small steps.
I am a little confused in the wardrobe department... I was either really bloated earlier and now I'm not, or I've still been losing weight. All of my regular pants fit for the most part. It's pretty strange. I have less tummy now than I did a month ago. I swear. Now, it mysteriously appears in the evening when I turn into bloated-7 month-preggo-woman, but other than that, I swear I might have one of those skinny people flat tummies. Now how weird is that??????
I had a really sadistic thought yesterday that I'd 'feel better' if I had the m/s back. I feel fine, I'm wearing normal clothes, but I'm pregnant? Like really pregnant? What? My thought was confirmed tonight by our 9y/o niece who gave my tummy a really weird look when my SIL told the girls we were having a baby. Her look said "you can't possibly be having a baby, you're not fat, where's the belly?" It was pretty funny until she followed it up by saying "I've been wondering when you would have a baby!"
Gee, thanks... me too! Me too....

Oh you better appreciate that skinny person flat tummy because in a few months it will be LONG GONE! You're going to be wondering how on earth your skin and belly could possibly stretch any more. I went from big to gigantic all in the last week--ugh. So worth it though! Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better--M/S is so horrible. I hope you had a great weekend. I might be getting put on bedrest tomorrow so you might have to come over and entertain me sometime...lol :) Hope you guys are doing well!
I have zippo experience in this department but from I've observed--enjoy it while it lasts! You'll pop out before you know it. Or maybe you'll be one of those weird cases where you technically could "hide" your pregnancy the whole time? ?! :)
Enjoy the lack of morning sickness!
Hi - thanks for posting on my blog! I cannot wait to ready your story!!!
Oh, don't you worry... that belly is coming soon! And it won't be long until you can feel that little guy moving around in there! It's going to feel very real very soon.
Take advantage of this time of feeling good and not being big! Get to work on that nursery!
And hey, when is your shower going to be? :)
I don't have any experience, but I've heard that many women do lose weight in their first trimester and then all of a sudden the belly pops. Enjoy this time, as I'm sure your belly will soon appear! :)
Hi there - I have read most of your 2008 fall posts - you have been through so much - I am so happy for you.
I sent in all of my CCRM paperwork - I have a phone consult on 1/6 but they may move it up since they have my paperwork. That place sounds incredible!
I'm glad to hear the sickness is gone. I love what your niece said ... seriously, you gotta wonder who's been waiting ages to ask you that question! (And who is waiting to ask me!)
I can't wait until you're sporting a "there's no hiding that I'm pregnant" body ... then you'll have to share the love and share the pics!
14w ... WOO HOOO!!!
Don't they say that you are late to show the first baby bump. I will since i already have an empty baby bump. Some people are just slim for the entire pregnancy. You'll be posting bump shots in no time.
I'm glad the awful morning sickness has finally come to an end!!! Mine just kicked in so I now know how you've been feeling. YUCK! Hopefully you're tummy will now get and round and big! And the rest of your pregnancy will be amazing!
Too cute about your niece!!
I'll bet you will come back to this post in a few months just to remember when your tummy was flat. (-; You'll be sporting that baby bump in no time!!
